Our Story
Established in 1985, SFD is the leading diamond importer and wholesaler in San Francisco, CA. The company is proudly owned and operated by the Raz family. After graduating from McGill University (Canada), Karen apprenticed at the diamond exchange in Ramat Gan, Israel, where she gained her expertise working with the finest masters. It’s there where she met Ami. The two fell in love, got married, and decided to come to America to share their life and dreams together… and the rest is history!

We take pride in sourcing the best diamonds to our customers. SFD Trading is a member of Jewelers Vigilance Committee, a non-profit which assists diamond companies to maintain the jewelry industry's highest ethical standards.
We comply with the US Patriot Act outlining Anti-Money Laundering and “Know Your Customer” efforts, as well as the Kimberly Process, a "Know Your Suppliers" initiative to avoid trading in conflict stones. SFD has also taken The Rapaport Pledge for ethical Jewelry.
